Old version was easier to navigate
Iβm lost on this new version. Instead of gradual changes you seemed to have gone for the βletβs confuse the crapβ out of people approach.

Previous version superior. New version too cluttered. All I want to do is see my wine in a concise list format and easily view reviews.
previous version is simple on format and use. All I want to do is see my wine in a concise list and easily read reviews. I am still using the previous version and shall continue to do so. The new version adds nothing.

Bring back drinking window to my cellar list screen
it was really disappointing to see the drinking window get removed from the my cellar list view. What made this app amazing was the ability to filter by a type your looking to drink and then sort the list by what should be drank 1st so that you clear out the wine that is close to going bad.. Itβs frustrating to now have to click into every bottle to see the drinking window.

Locations and Bins should be persistent
I wish the slots in my cellar wouldnβt disappear when I consume a bottle. Itβs a lot of effort to type in over 900 individual slots and then to have to retype them when I buy new bottles. Why couldnβt they just stay empty until I add new wine?

New app harder to use
it is much more difficult to compare vibtage scores and find community drinking window. Should we all on one page, please, like the older app.

Option to make Restaurant Style Wine List URLs shareable
Currently, you need to be logged in/have a cookie for the same account for a wine list url to be viewable. My particular use-case is that my wife doesn't necessarily want to use Cellartracker due to it being very robust but a bit too complex for casual use. The fact that the wine lists themselves update dynamically presents a much simpler way for her to view at any time what we have in our collection, location, etc. Similarly to the above, if I had friends over it would be easy to just give them the URL so they could view on their own phone.

Add search box back to default starting screen
I would like to open the app and immediately start typing to find a wine in my cellar. My most common entry point in the previous Android app was the text box in the "my cellar" tab with the magnifying glass. I could immediately start looking up any wine in my collection just by typing. In the new app, I have to tap on "in my cellar" and then start typing. This is needless friction when there's ample screen real estate to add the search bar back in.

Bottles list for consume is not useful, why do I care about a SQL id, show me location
I don't understand the purpose of showing bottle ids. What is the intended purpose for me to know this information. When consuming a bottle, I'm shown a bottle selection which shows size and bottle id. Why can't the app show location in that initial display rather than id. If course the dropdown shows all the locations, but of all the information you could show, the internal database row id is not my first choice and I suspect not the first choice of many people who use the app.

Event feature for group participation
While I'm a person who is slightly annoyed at every app's artificial push for the social aspect, I do see a purpose to an extent in a wine app. I'm hosting a wine club and having the ability to create an "events" page in my profile would be amazing. This would make it very easy to discuss and create a list of wines before the event and have an archive of events we could go back to in order to read comments and conclusions regarding the different tastings. The page should of course have a shareable "read only" version for those who for various reasons don't have, or want to have a CT user but need to be informed.

olde version was perfectly fine
posting new reviews and looking at reviews of your wines is much more difficult. not sure how many companies test stuff before they launcn new views. even after all these months with new version I am still not easily navigating.

To decide what I might sell, % increase over cost feature would be great
if I wanted to sell some greatly appreciated wine to raise cash or to buy more wine it would be helpful to see what wine has appreciated the most to help be decide what to sell.. thanks

Bug: Consume appears to succeed but fails
I'm consuming a bunch of wines. Filtering by location and sorting by location. I select the wine from the list, click Consume, select date, click Save and it says bottle consumed. 3 back swipes on Android to get back to the list and the wine is still there in the list. Normally it disappears. Checked the old app and the wine is still in my cellar. Happened probably 3 or 4 times so far in my consumption recording of 35 bottles. Note that it's easier to consume a wine from the old app with the context menu and fewer back swipes after consumption.

Provide option to turn off 'Grow your network' section
I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

Let me rate wines/write comments WITHOUT MAKING THEM PUBLIC
Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank β rating and comments β WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. Itβs PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousinβs birthday partyβ¦ but that information will definitely be relevant next month when Iβm trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And itβs frankly nobody elseβs business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. Itβs fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media βinfluencersβ, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.
