  2. Add "I like it, don't like it, or neutral" to review flow

From Scott: There may be alternative categories to like/dont/neutral that work better--I'm not sure. I like the general idea because (1) I don't necessarily want to score someone's life's work as a 70 if I dislike it, (2) I don't always want to spend the mental energy to come up with a score, especially where at a dinner and trying to enjoy company, and (3) I want to be able to quickly and easily sort among wines I like without necessarily caring if the wine got an 89 or a 91. There is also a distinction between wines that are 100-point examples of a style that I dislike. I don't want to score that objectively excellent wine with my subjective 70-point score. I don't have a way to distinguish quality from my personal preference.

  3. I want notes to auto complete/fill

From Dan When consuming bottles, I was really missing the auto-complete on the consumption note. I rely on the autocomplete here (and many other fields) quite frequently so would be great to see this added!

  4. AI agent voice integration to add, or consume bottles.

adding an ai agent integration would reduce the friction from adding or removing bottles form inventory.

  7. Wines you never plan to open

I have a few wines that I never plan to open. Mostly they are wines with a specific vintage that means something, like β€œthe year my grandchild etc was born or when I met my best friend etc.” some wines we’ll never open. For me it’s mostly because it’s crap wine or it is now, but the vintage is important. If there was someway to exclude those from your cellar and drink by dates that would be great. I realize this is a very small ask vs the other asks but just wanted to ask! Thanks Kevin Nasr

  9. Dark mode please

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

  10. Provide option to turn off 'Grow your network' section

I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

  11. Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.

  12. Old version was easier to navigate

I’m lost on this new version. Instead of gradual changes you seemed to have gone for the β€œlet’s confuse the crap” out of people approach.

  13. Stop trying to make this a social site!

while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

  14. Tag consumed wines to drink again. Allowing the user to easily see the wines to purchase again.

Currently when I consume a bottle I can add a note if I would purchases it again or not. But there is not easy way to pull this back up. There is no tag that I can add/select that says purchase again. If this feature was available a user could pull up wines they enjoyed to repurchase. Now I have to keep track of this separately outside the app.

  15. Let me rate wines/write comments WITHOUT MAKING THEM PUBLIC

Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank β€” rating and comments β€” WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. It’s PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousin’s birthday party… but that information will definitely be relevant next month when I’m trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And it’s frankly nobody else’s business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. It’s fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media β€œinfluencers”, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.
