Visualize My Cellar
Visual option to show where my wine is in the cellar so I donβt have to count bins or rows etc. could be simple grid or complex 3D with label images. Just some way to replicate the design of my physical cellar into digital app.

Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine
From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.

View Wine Details after scanning Barcode
When you scan a barcode for a bottle it shows you the Storage Info, Bottle Size/Id, Purchase Information and allows you to Edit or Consume. There is no way to get to the actual Wine/Vintage details/Comments for a bottle from that screen. If you hit the "< Bottle Details" chevron it takes you back to the Home screen. Ideally the top section that contains the bottle image and wine title would be clickable and take you to the wine itself so you can see the latest information on your bottle. I agree that Edit/Consume are the most common actions desired when I scan a bottle, but I'd really like to get to the Wine Info in a single click after I scan a bottle. Updated to attach a screenshot of Bottle Details:

Stop trying to make this a social site!
while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

Let me rate wines/write comments WITHOUT MAKING THEM PUBLIC
Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank β rating and comments β WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. Itβs PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousinβs birthday partyβ¦ but that information will definitely be relevant next month when Iβm trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And itβs frankly nobody elseβs business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. Itβs fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media βinfluencersβ, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.

Drinkability scores and "drink between" windows are wrong for NV wines
There are lots of wines that do not have a vintage year but do have a finite drinking window. (Most Champagnes and sakes, for example!) Currently, these wines have complete nonsense in the "drinkability score" and "drink by" window. For example I often see bottles whose "drink by" window ended before this bottle was actually bottled. It is incorrect to say that, e.g., ALL bottles of Veuve Clicquot NV have the same drink by window. A bottle that was bottled last year will improve a little and then last longer than an NV bottled 10years ago. Instead of showing wrong information (and, e.g., adding lots of noise/mess to my "drinkability report), CellarTracker should do one of the following: A) remove "drinkability score" and ready-to-drink windows from NV wines B) Add a concept of "NV but bottled on date X" (perhaps the purchase date if the true bottling date is unknown) and for NV wines calculate drinkability and drink-bys based on number of years since bottling date [preferred] Thanks!

no account sharing option in beta app
There doesn't seem to be a way to do account sharing in the new app like the old one, or if there is it's too well hidden. Here's the support page for account sharing as of now. https://support.cellartracker.com/article/56-account-sharing

No Vivino please
Initial fears are this is turning into a mini Vivino. Cellartracker is for the real wine drinking, inventory management utmost, viewing friends cellars and other reviews 2nd. The new app feels too much, too busy, too many pictures, too many suggestions, colour and bling over core inventory management functionality. Please don't lose sight over what made this so good. Vivino should not be viewed as direct competition.

Add search box back to default starting screen
I would like to open the app and immediately start typing to find a wine in my cellar. My most common entry point in the previous Android app was the text box in the "my cellar" tab with the magnifying glass. I could immediately start looking up any wine in my collection just by typing. In the new app, I have to tap on "in my cellar" and then start typing. This is needless friction when there's ample screen real estate to add the search bar back in.

Bring Cellar Search to main page
I use the app primarily, and the desktop app for writing tasting notes. The current app immediately lets me find wine in my cellar. Now, the home page tells me stuff but to do anything useful I have to go somewhere else to find wines in my cellar. I don't understand the point of the home page.

Not all of my wines are ready to drink
From Jonathan I've swiped down several times in both the In My Cellar section and Ready to Drink sections, but the numbers have stayed the same. I guarantee you not all my wines are ready to drink. https://secure.helpscout.net/conversation/2315525170/391780?folderId=6955752

Map Feature of collection
It would be neat to have capability to see where wines are from in a map to help inform regional taste profiles

Cellar Chat HISTORY
Cellar Chat deletes chat history after a 30-second conversation... I have to re-explain my request after having left the app even temporarily...

Add minimum votes filter
When searching for wine within any given category and sorting by score, it would be extremely helpful to set a minimum vote filter. This way, the wines with 1-2 votes and scores way too high can be filtered out. In general, scores are more statistically accurate with more votes.
