Feature Requests, Bugs, and More

Strongly dislike the recent UI change that buries access to Pro Reviews to "below the fold". Having to scroll down through the community review section that is secondary to me, to then find and click through to see All the Pro Reviews that I am subscribing to is a major step back in functionality from having it be a simple click of a tab at the top of the wine details screen. Really really really bad change to be forced to wade through the community reviews first.

From User I have several wines I am saving just for fun that I do not plan on drinking (e.g., the wines we served at our wedding). Because I want to exhaust my cellar of wines past their drinking window, I frequently ask the bot for wines past the drinking window. Unfortunately, all these wines I've saved for sentimental purposes, or ones I "can't" drink (see below), show up, rendering my search null. Seeing those wines pop up every search, then having to ask the bot to adjust or list more, gets annoying, and it often fails.

while you have some good new tweeks, find it far less user friendly. I have erroneously entered some wines as a result because of the confusion and find it equally hard to edit them. In spite of the fact that I at least a 4 year user!! Giving me enough fits to make me think of cancelling!!

I have been a subscriber for many years since the early years of the service paying the voluntary annual payments as I valued your service. My subscription expired in August and due to unfortunate circumstances I could not renew immediately. I am disappointed to now be faced with only monthly subscription options. Your service has grown to include features that are of no interest to me and while I can understand your wish to enhance features, as a long term subscriber I am dismayed at the cost increase especially when it is likely for services I will not use. Is there another option for long term subscribers?

Still don’t like functionality of newer app…especially for consuming bottles. Seems to require more steps than before

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank — rating and comments — WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. It’s PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousin’s birthday party… but that information will definitely be relevant next month when I’m trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And it’s frankly nobody else’s business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. It’s fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media “influencers”, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.
