  3. I want to group (summarize) my wine lists

From Jonathan: by Grouping (using Microsoft's terminology here) I mean something akin to the "Summarize" feature you have on the website. When browsing a list I can summarize / group them by region, varietal, etc. Sure. I hope you can also add groupings, or at least note category / group totals somewhere - those are very helpful. And I still really wish I could sort / group pending wines by Store. That's huge for me for inventory control and when receiving pending bottles.

  4. no account sharing option in beta app

There doesn't seem to be a way to do account sharing in the new app like the old one, or if there is it's too well hidden. Here's the support page for account sharing as of now. https://support.cellartracker.com/article/56-account-sharing

  5. Inconsistent date formats

You mix up your date formats which is very confusing. From Search My Cellar List by bin - date format is iPhone regional setting which is DD/MM/YY in my case. Click on a wine and choose View All Bottles, date format for purchased, delivered, etc on this screen is M/DD/YY. Please fix. The year is already long enough with 12 months!! Dates in the ready-to-drink listing of wines are correct, whereas dates in MyBottles listing are in incorrect mm/dd/yy format.

  6. Drinking window min/max filter

I am thoroughly enjoying the new app and it's ability to combine filters on different attributes (eg filter on varietal and producer). Could the drinking window filter be explained? I THINK it should operate as follows: To find wine that is "ready" to drink, set the drinking window start filter and return wines where the drinking window start is earlier than or equal to the filter value. To find wine that is "expired", set the drinking window end filter and return wines where the drinking window end is earlier than or equal to the filter value. I'm my experience, setting the drinking window end date returns wines where the drinking window range includes the filter value instead of limiting by filter value. Alternatively, how do I filter by drinking window end dates that have passed? I'm using iOS build 2.1.22

  7. Ability to know where in your cellar you have room for more bottlex

I have 90 bottle wine cellar which has 9 shelves. It would nice if I could tell app how many bottles a shelf can store and then easily find shelf(s) that have free spot when adding new bottle

  8. Add search box back to default starting screen

I would like to open the app and immediately start typing to find a wine in my cellar. My most common entry point in the previous Android app was the text box in the "my cellar" tab with the magnifying glass. I could immediately start looking up any wine in my collection just by typing. In the new app, I have to tap on "in my cellar" and then start typing. This is needless friction when there's ample screen real estate to add the search bar back in.

  10. View all wines from the same producer

Clicking on producer name in Wine Details actively links through to all wines for that producer Would be good in the Beta version to be able to click through to all wines for the producer / producer page when clicking on the producer name in the Wine Details section (active link on producer name)

  11. Change default delivery date to "today" when accepting delivery

Usually, when accepting a pending delivery it is the day when it is delivered. But for some reason the delivery date defaults to purchase date or similar

  12. Big: Fast typing causes extra characters inserted after the cursor

System: iOS beta app build 2.1.14, iOS 17.4.1, iPhone 13 This is a bug that I have been observing in all of the beta builds since I became a beta user many versions ago When I type very quickly into the In My Cellar search bar, there is a glitch where characters that I did not type are inserted after my cursor. I have attached an example video file where I type β€œs-a-v-a-r” very quickly and what winds up on the entry line is β€œs-a-v-a-rn” where is the position of the cursor. You need to watch the video in slow motion to see it happen. This doesn’t happen on every entry but I can make it happen over and over by typing quickly. It seems to happen frequently during normal use. I probably type faster than most other users but I have never had this happen in any other app. I suspect it is a glitch related to predictive search.

  13. Visualisations of my cellar

I extract my CT data nightly so I can then produce my own visualisations of my cellar and have developed an interactive dashboard to explore my cellar. (Done using a tool called Splunk) I wish CT could have some decent viz implementations to interact with my cellar along these lines as my own viz only reflects MY cellar contents, whereas with the whole CT database, it could do so so so much better than my simple views. I posted some views of mine here, but would love this type of interactivity within the app. https://www.cellartracker.com/forum/tm.asp?m=546863

  14. Bin number problem

With the old app, I could create a new bin location such as B05. Withe the new app, if I enter B, I can't add a number after it

  15. Sort by professional reviewer score

it should be possible to sort the list by scores from a given pro reviewer. I believe this is already doable on desktop. I’d be contempt with just the pro reviewers that I subscribe to and have linked with.
