When adding a wine, the most important thing for me to enter is the price I paid, so having that visible at the top of the screen would be very helpful, rather than having to scroll down. Often that price is the average cost for other users (or close to it), so having the price either auto-populate, or having a button to populate it, would be super useful.

Customizing the defaults for the charts does not appear to be sticky. I switch cellar size from 20 years to 1 and when I navigate away and return it resets to 20. Same for the other charts as well From User

I try searching for a wine and I type but nothng shows. The keyboard is typing because predictive text is working on the keyboard. I have to close the keyboard and it may work when trying again.

having a cycle count audit functionality would allow individuals with large wine, sellers especially those with multiple people accessing the seller to ensure it is kept up-to-date in accurate. Allow users to either audit the whole cellar in check off exercise or a random bottle check (select # of bottles to verify). After all, auditing is part of tracking 😍

My cellar comprises separate storage cubicle that hold 12 bottles each and are covered from the front. Individual bottle locations are 01-01, 01-02 etc. The next storage cubicle holds 02-01, 02-02 etc and on it goes. When I get new bottles I have to check which locations are empty before I can add to the cellar. I literally do a sort of all my locations and see what is missing. eg. 01-01, 01-02, 01-04 indicates that 01-03 would be empty. I'd like a way of making this easier to find empty storage locations in my cellar. Can you do this?

Previous app version easier to navigate. New version does not seem as intuitive.

I want to be able to see and manage my wishlist within the cellartracker mobile app

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.

From Scott: There may be alternative categories to like/dont/neutral that work better--I'm not sure. I like the general idea because (1) I don't necessarily want to score someone's life's work as a 70 if I dislike it, (2) I don't always want to spend the mental energy to come up with a score, especially where at a dinner and trying to enjoy company, and (3) I want to be able to quickly and easily sort among wines I like without necessarily caring if the wine got an 89 or a 91. There is also a distinction between wines that are 100-point examples of a style that I dislike. I don't want to score that objectively excellent wine with my subjective 70-point score. I don't have a way to distinguish quality from my personal preference.

Currently when I consume a bottle I can add a note if I would purchases it again or not. But there is not easy way to pull this back up. There is no tag that I can add/select that says purchase again. If this feature was available a user could pull up wines they enjoyed to repurchase. Now I have to keep track of this separately outside the app.

Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank — rating and comments — WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. It’s PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousin’s birthday party… but that information will definitely be relevant next month when I’m trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And it’s frankly nobody else’s business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. It’s fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media “influencers”, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.
