  2. Translate button in tasting note

Some great TN’s here are not in English and I’m constantly doing the copy-paste into one of the big tech translators. It’s double trouble with the mobile app that doesn’t allow text highlight and copy - I have to open in browser. Would be cool to have a button allla YouTube comments, or Google maps. Even considering wine notes contain a high level of nuance, I find even the rougher translations helpful.

  3. Reimplement / improve the option to narrow down search results to what's in your cellar

When I hit the Scan Barcode button in the "My Cellar" page, I would like the app to automatically refine the results and vintages down to what's in my cellar, so that I can easily find and consume a bottle of wine. In the attached screenshot, there are multiple hits for the barcode I have scanned, whereas I only have 1 vintage of 1 wine in my actual cellar. The original app at least has an ability to filter down to what's in your cellar, but I think this can be taken a step further to automatically doing so when in the My Cellar view, or providing an option to do so when not in the My Cellar view.

  4. View filters should reset each time I close/reopen app

When I filter my collection for say champagne and vintage. Find what I need Next time I access my collection the filter is retained. I think if app remains open it’s ok to retain. But once I close app. Filters should be reset

  5. More prominent community holdings in-app

I want to be able to view and explore community holdings for a wine more easily. It's useful to see how many bottles the community has of a wine to learn how popular it is. As well as see the ratio between consumption and holdings to learn if a wine is ready to drink.

  6. Support setting international date format

Please enable setting the international date format (dd/mm/yyyy) as default. The USA date format used may be confusing for out of USA users.

  7. # of bottle remaining vs total purchased

Ex. it was helpful to see that I had 3 remaining of 7 purchased. Now I am only seeing the total remaining on my collection page.

  8. Dense/compact view of wine cards

When I'm looking through the list of wines/bottles in my collection, I want to see more "cards" at once in a more dense/compact view.

  9. Dark mode please

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

  10. Simplify the relocation process

Occasionally I move bottles within a location (physical cellar) or between locations as space becomes available and needs to be consolidated. I did that this evening and found the process in the Beta App very cumbersome - it is quite simple in the production app to which I eventually retreated as it was so much more efficient.

  11. Bottle counts are more useful than wine counts

From Jonathan For me at least, telling me how many wines I have pending is far less useful than telling me how many actual bottles.

  12. Clicking on chart data for details

It would be helpful to be able to click on/select the lines/bars/pie slices and have that bring you to the data for each bar/slice clicked.

  13. Drinkability scores and "drink between" windows are wrong for NV wines

There are lots of wines that do not have a vintage year but do have a finite drinking window. (Most Champagnes and sakes, for example!) Currently, these wines have complete nonsense in the "drinkability score" and "drink by" window. For example I often see bottles whose "drink by" window ended before this bottle was actually bottled. It is incorrect to say that, e.g., ALL bottles of Veuve Clicquot NV have the same drink by window. A bottle that was bottled last year will improve a little and then last longer than an NV bottled 10years ago. Instead of showing wrong information (and, e.g., adding lots of noise/mess to my "drinkability report), CellarTracker should do one of the following: A) remove "drinkability score" and ready-to-drink windows from NV wines B) Add a concept of "NV but bottled on date X" (perhaps the purchase date if the true bottling date is unknown) and for NV wines calculate drinkability and drink-bys based on number of years since bottling date [preferred] Thanks!

  14. AI integration for food pairing recommendations

I manage my own food pairing tags externally but I would love the app to be able to integrate with an AI LLM so that I could say what I am having for dinner and it would come back with a suggestion of wines to pair with it. If I gave it permission, I would then like it to make a recommendation from MY cellar

  15. Drinking window chart

Having this chart is an improvement compared to not having one, however, I’d really like to see it by year. I had mentioned that request a few years back. I tend to rely on the drinkability # rather than grabbing random bottles out of the cellar (which of course still happens occasionally). I still don’t have a good feel for the individual years where I will have too many ready versus not enough according to the drinking range I have set for each bottle (ie the drinkability calculation). This would be very very helpful to have, especially for medium and large size collections and the data is there.
