  2. I want to see who voted my tasting note as Helpful + be able to thumbs up on reply comments

From Jack For those of us that comment on reviews it would be very nice to be able to view who gave you a thumbs up and also to be able to click a thumbs up for a reply to a comment in order to acknowledge someone's reply to your comment. Just thoughts on making this more social.

  3. Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.

  4. Rethink adding a review when consuming

When consuming a wine, the app heavily pushes me to add a review. The problem is, that’s not when I want to review the wine. I usually go through the consume flow as soon as I remove the bottle from the cellar. Asking me to review the wine at this time does me no good. It would be better to nudge me later, after I’ve had the wine or while I’m drinking it. Maybe even mark a wine as “drinking right now”, so I can easily go back to it and keep adding notes. For me, that’s easier than writing up a full review all at once.

  5. I want to talk to CellarChat using voice only without needing my phone (via Alexa, Google Home, etc.)

From Stephen Are you working on the ability to remove a bottle of wine from a cellar collection via a AI agent through an Echo Google Home device? Also, I would love to ask my nearby agent more detail on a specific wine I am drinking without having to do an involved Internet search on a mobile device. I would love to see the app tied to Alexa as a skill. Many times I do not have my phone handy when I am tasting with guests. Plus, I feel using a phone in front of guests is in poor taste.

  6. Stop trying to make this a social site!

while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

  7. Ability to know where in your cellar you have room for more bottlex

I have 90 bottle wine cellar which has 9 shelves. It would nice if I could tell app how many bottles a shelf can store and then easily find shelf(s) that have free spot when adding new bottle

  8. I want to group (summarize) my wine lists

From Jonathan: by Grouping (using Microsoft's terminology here) I mean something akin to the "Summarize" feature you have on the website. When browsing a list I can summarize / group them by region, varietal, etc. Sure. I hope you can also add groupings, or at least note category / group totals somewhere - those are very helpful. And I still really wish I could sort / group pending wines by Store. That's huge for me for inventory control and when receiving pending bottles.

  9. Add ability to edit/manage stores

I don't believe Cellar Tracker allows me to edit/delete stores from which I no longer buy wine so I end up entering the wrong store at times. Would be great to be able to edit the list of stores that is used for new entries to avoid making incorrect entries.

  10. Add search box back to default starting screen

I would like to open the app and immediately start typing to find a wine in my cellar. My most common entry point in the previous Android app was the text box in the "my cellar" tab with the magnifying glass. I could immediately start looking up any wine in my collection just by typing. In the new app, I have to tap on "in my cellar" and then start typing. This is needless friction when there's ample screen real estate to add the search bar back in.

  11. Pro reviews should show drinking windows

From Hamilton Any reason why drink dates are not displayed in the professional reviews? They used to be. https://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=2384306

  12. I want to see how the value of my collection/wine/bottles has changed over time

From Aron Also, I do not ever intend to sell my collection, but I want to know that I can brag a bit to my friends when things go up in value. An example is that I own a number of Unicos and when Drops of God came out, the value of these bottles spiked. Ease of seeing that would be great. A suggestion, since you want to charge a premium for valuation, is maybe to indicate a percent change over time, without stating the actual value of a bottle? Or maybe cost groups...Classify groups by 1-20, 20-60, 60-100, 1-150, 150-300, 300 and up?

  13. Details not dynamic

The bottom area of Wine Details should be clickable. Ie clicking on Producer should pull up other wines from the Producer.

  14. Please remove redundant region/appellation from printable wine lists

Currently the “printable wine list” (aka restaurant-style wine lists) displays a lot of redundant location/appellation information that is already included in headers. It would be great to remove this — but only for info that is already included in the headers — as it takes up a lot of space that could be used for things like pro scores, drinking windows, location, price, etc. More detail: CellarTracker (rightly) treats locations/appellations hierarchically. For example Casa Lapostolle’s Cuvée Alexandre comes from Chile, within Chile it’s in the Rapel Valley, within the Rapel Valley it’s in Colchagua valley, and within Colchagua it’s in Apalta. CellarTracker will (nicely) group wines under headings/subheadings for some of these “layers” but not for all. This is all great but what’s frustrating is that CellarTracker then repeats all of the information from the header next to EACH entry underneath the header. I’d really like to keep the info that isn’t in the header but not repeat the stuff that is. See attached screenshot: the redundant items to be removed are crossed out in red). Importantly, please note that NOT ALL of the location/appellation should be removed! For example, for Casa Lapostolle’s Cuvée Alexandre Carmenere, Cellar Tracker creates a heading for “Chile” and sub heading for “Rapel Valley”, but the appellation next to the wine says “Chile, Rapel Valley, Colchagua Valley, Apalta”. So you could safely remove “Chile” and “Rapel Valley” from what’s listed next to each wine but keep “Colchagua Valley” and “Apalta” as those both add useful info! Thanks!

  15. Printable Wine List with Exclusions

For my own use or to share with guests I would like to use the printable wine list with only selected wines. For example, I'd be happy for guests to choose anything below a certain $ amount or that needs to be consumed this year. Similar in function but another way to do this could be to manually select wines using the tick boxes, then under more options, have the possibility of seeing the selected wines in a report, in this case, the restaurant style wine list.
