  2. Filter button not working (iOS)

if I for example sort by wine type I can no longer use the filter function. I click it but nothing happens. Used to work fine. I have deleted android reinstalled the app.

  3. Sort - multi-level, such as by Ready to Drink, then Variety, the vintage range or Region

I searched already posted suggestions and didn’t see this one. I primarily use the web version of CT due to its many options on the first screen on my phone and high functionality. My suggestion is to replicate the multi-level sorting functionality as I use it ad hoc but also to generate the 30 Saved Views I use. As an example, some of my Saved Views are RtDrink, then Color, then Location or MyBottles, Vintage (descending), then Producer (Qty Desc’g) or Purchases by Year Purchased (Desc), Quarter (desc), then Month (desc).

  4. Create a new wine on mobile

I want to be able to create a new wine within the cellartracker mobile app. This is currently only available on desktop web and I'd like to be able to do this within the app when I'm adding a wine to my cellar that isn't already on cellartracker.

  5. View all wines from the same producer

Clicking on producer name in Wine Details actively links through to all wines for that producer Would be good in the Beta version to be able to click through to all wines for the producer / producer page when clicking on the producer name in the Wine Details section (active link on producer name)

  6. Visualisations of my cellar

I extract my CT data nightly so I can then produce my own visualisations of my cellar and have developed an interactive dashboard to explore my cellar. (Done using a tool called Splunk) I wish CT could have some decent viz implementations to interact with my cellar along these lines as my own viz only reflects MY cellar contents, whereas with the whole CT database, it could do so so so much better than my simple views. I posted some views of mine here, but would love this type of interactivity within the app. https://www.cellartracker.com/forum/tm.asp?m=546863

  7. Change default delivery date to "today" when accepting delivery

Usually, when accepting a pending delivery it is the day when it is delivered. But for some reason the delivery date defaults to purchase date or similar

  9. Let me rate wines/write comments WITHOUT MAKING THEM PUBLIC

Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank — rating and comments — WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. It’s PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousin’s birthday party… but that information will definitely be relevant next month when I’m trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And it’s frankly nobody else’s business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. It’s fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media “influencers”, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.

  10. Ability to know where in your cellar you have room for more bottlex

I have 90 bottle wine cellar which has 9 shelves. It would nice if I could tell app how many bottles a shelf can store and then easily find shelf(s) that have free spot when adding new bottle

  11. Drinkability scores and "drink between" windows are wrong for NV wines

There are lots of wines that do not have a vintage year but do have a finite drinking window. (Most Champagnes and sakes, for example!) Currently, these wines have complete nonsense in the "drinkability score" and "drink by" window. For example I often see bottles whose "drink by" window ended before this bottle was actually bottled. It is incorrect to say that, e.g., ALL bottles of Veuve Clicquot NV have the same drink by window. A bottle that was bottled last year will improve a little and then last longer than an NV bottled 10years ago. Instead of showing wrong information (and, e.g., adding lots of noise/mess to my "drinkability report), CellarTracker should do one of the following: A) remove "drinkability score" and ready-to-drink windows from NV wines B) Add a concept of "NV but bottled on date X" (perhaps the purchase date if the true bottling date is unknown) and for NV wines calculate drinkability and drink-bys based on number of years since bottling date [preferred] Thanks!

  12. I want to group (summarize) my wine lists

From Jonathan: by Grouping (using Microsoft's terminology here) I mean something akin to the "Summarize" feature you have on the website. When browsing a list I can summarize / group them by region, varietal, etc. Sure. I hope you can also add groupings, or at least note category / group totals somewhere - those are very helpful. And I still really wish I could sort / group pending wines by Store. That's huge for me for inventory control and when receiving pending bottles.

  13. Tag consumed wines to drink again. Allowing the user to easily see the wines to purchase again.

Currently when I consume a bottle I can add a note if I would purchases it again or not. But there is not easy way to pull this back up. There is no tag that I can add/select that says purchase again. If this feature was available a user could pull up wines they enjoyed to repurchase. Now I have to keep track of this separately outside the app.

  14. Add personalised Tags to wine

In addition to location/bin, would be helpful if we can add multiple Tags to wine for organising cellar and to look up in future. Example of tags "Day-to-day Drinking" "Business Dinner" "To Sell" "For Cooking" "For XYZ Parties" etc.

  15. Notes from others on my wines sort order

New app, iOS… Activity > For You (Others on My Wines in the old app) shows notes sorted newest to oldest across days, but oldest to newest within each day. It also sorts according to the date the wine was consumed rather than when the note was posted. Preference is to show notes in strict reverse chronological order according to post time. This keeps the newest content at the top and is consistent with the “activity feed” style I think you’re going for.
