Dark mode please
This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

Visualize My Cellar
Visual option to show where my wine is in the cellar so I donβt have to count bins or rows etc. could be simple grid or complex 3D with label images. Just some way to replicate the design of my physical cellar into digital app.

Bring Cellar Search to main page
I use the app primarily, and the desktop app for writing tasting notes. The current app immediately lets me find wine in my cellar. Now, the home page tells me stuff but to do anything useful I have to go somewhere else to find wines in my cellar. I don't understand the point of the home page.

Receipt scanner
Hi, I tested the receipt scanner recently, however the accurracy especially considering ai powered is quite poor. There are multiple enhancements that you should consider. If a possible match is found but not certain, you get no chance to accept the result and instead you need to do the full query with all found keywords and not even the suggested wine is found then. The ai matches severly go off mark on wineries sometimes. Especially if the receipt is from a winery its very likely that they mostly sell tge same producers( sometimes more than one but never many) The db search terms created are actually very precise and on mark on whats on the receipt. However the information is sometimes very specific andvalso contains extra information. The query however is very strict when searching so the extra texts really screw up the results. In my tests it added "weingut" ie vinery in front of every wine it searched and only then the producer name. That was enough to always remove all results from the query. Some sort of partial string and single word search would really help to improve results and suggestions.... Kind of like a google relevance rank. When a wine is not in the db yet, it would help to be able to report it directly there and then directly connect the creation of the new wine to this result. That would really enhance overall usability by a lot. For better ai results, i am sure you can optimize your prompts... Be more precise how it should handle results and what it should search for.

Associate Bar Codes Not Found After Searching Maually
In a previous version of Cellar Tracker, when you scanned a bar code that wasnβt found but then searched another way (e.g., typing the name manually), the app posed the question of whether that previously entered bar code should be associated with the found wine. That never happens anymore, and it seems that would help improve bar code searching.

Option to add text note to single label search uploads or results
Would be cool to add the option to be able to add a free text note to single label scans uploaded via the Label Search function either when uploading and/or retroactively to entries already in the list of searches. Currently this can be done when adding a series of scans via the Quick Capture function but no option to do it for just one label image or to add notes to scans already submitted. This would be useful for adding quick notes on things such as bottle price, initial tasting impressions with a view to making adding the bottle to the database or submitting fuller tasting notes later EDIT: As a workaround, I now see that a note can be added to a single label scan if you scan just one label with the Quick Capture function, add a note then just click Done. But it would still be good to be able to add a note when you have done a scan using the standard Label Search button or to be able to add a note retroactively to scans already submitted ...

Stop trying to make this a social site!
while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine
From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.

Let me rate wines/write comments WITHOUT MAKING THEM PUBLIC
Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank β rating and comments β WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. Itβs PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousinβs birthday partyβ¦ but that information will definitely be relevant next month when Iβm trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And itβs frankly nobody elseβs business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. Itβs fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media βinfluencersβ, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.
