  2. Old version was easier to navigate

I’m lost on this new version. Instead of gradual changes you seemed to have gone for the β€œlet’s confuse the crap” out of people approach.

  3. No Vivino please

Initial fears are this is turning into a mini Vivino. Cellartracker is for the real wine drinking, inventory management utmost, viewing friends cellars and other reviews 2nd. The new app feels too much, too busy, too many pictures, too many suggestions, colour and bling over core inventory management functionality. Please don't lose sight over what made this so good. Vivino should not be viewed as direct competition.

  4. Provide option to turn off 'Grow your network' section

I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

  5. Bring back sorting of other users’ reviews (e.g by score)

In the old interface we had no fewer than nine options for sorting other users’ notes by, for example, score, vintage and tasting date. In the new app it appears that we cannot sort other users notes (now called reviews) at all. Use case: one of the great joys of interacting with other profiles on CT is the ability to quickly sort their reviews by score - thus revealing which wines are their all-time favourites and what they generally prefer to drink. Photo attached of how it looks in the old interface.

  6. Consumption note vs review (TN)

Hello, I'm using the new app more and more and getting used to it πŸ‘. When consuming a wine, the Consumption note is front and center so I initially assumed it was the review (tasting note) field. But I think this turns out it's a private note that is not displayed to other users. If I want to add a public tasting note, it looks like I have to go through a second step, add review, after the bottle has been consumed. It's that accurate? Aren't you scared a lot of people will now enter TNs under consumption notes and not make them public? Many thanks and keep up the great work!

  7. New app harder to use

it is much more difficult to compare vibtage scores and find community drinking window. Should we all on one page, please, like the older app.

  8. Tasting notes UI issues (on Android)

When attempting to add notes to a tasting, once you click on the note box (on bottom of the page) the keyboard pops up in front of the notes box. I therefore can't see the note and or can't move the curse without closing the keyboard first. This turns into a ping pong game of typing then closing the keyboard, selecting a point in your note where you want to edit, then opening the keyboard again. It is incredibly frustrating. The desired behavior is that when I select the tasting note text box, the UI shifts the whole text box to the top of the screen so that the keyboard does not block the view of what you're editing. 9. CT Mobile search captures more than one vintage when searching by year

A user on Wine Berserkers noted searching for 1979 from his cellar brought up more than bottles from the 1979 vintage. I was able reproduce in my own cellar using 2001. I think it has something to do with the bottle number getting captured, though none of the bottle numbers in my search had the string 2001. I noticed however that it somehow may be grabbing wildcard string from the bottle number entries. Can send a photo of what I mean by email.

  10. Change home screen button order

any ways we could be able to change button position? Exemple i use mostly the ready to drink button but its the last one and i need to scroll… so i would like it as the first button last app its was direct Also if we could be able to see only the total bottle in stock instead of the total of all time because its very confusing on some dailyΒ n/v champagne and others stuff where i brought many many in the past and now have only few

  11. Streamline the search UX

The new UI is very attractive, but the UX is much less efficient than the old app. The new app’s initial results view when one is searching the whole CT database (as opposed to what is in one’s own cellar) shows so much less info compared to the old version. It now requires many more navigations steps to see info that used to be available at a glance. A list view more akin to what is on the my cellar search would be much more preferable to me.

  12. Some fields don’t work

I am trying to add wines using mt iPhone and some fields like cellar/location are not pulling down. Too frustrating- I quit for now

  13. Editing details needs work

I have just added 2 wines to a new cellar and trying to add details, like the cost per bottle is certainly not straightforward! I should be able to access and correct or add detail easily

  15. Auto-select a bottle to consume from my filtered location/bin

When I'm going to consume a bottle, the app should auto-select a bottle from my filtered location if I came from a view in my cellar filtered to that location. Example: if I am filtering my cellar by Location: Aspen, the app should auto-select a bottle from Aspen when I go to consume. From User
