  2. Not easy to see the review of consumed bottles

In the old app it was so intuitive and easy to read the reviews and opinions of other members on the bottles I was about to โ€œconsumeโ€. With this new version, after I remove a bottle -โ€œconsumeโ€ - itโ€™s very cumbersome to read other peopleโ€™s reviews of that bottle, added to my wish list, etc. once itโ€™s removed itโ€™s gone and done. I am not a fan of this new feature.

  3. Mobile app: Search My Reviews

The newest update of the mobile app made โ€œmy profileโ€ tab pull up the tasting notes right away, which is convenient but the search bar disappeared. I often reference my own notes and for a long time this was the reason I stuck to the Legacy app: there was no search bar in โ€œmy reviewsโ€ in the new app. Then, it got introduced. Now itโ€™s been removed again P.S. also patiently waiting for tasting stories in the new app!

  4. Label printing using Brother QL series printers

In addition to the Dymo label printing, it would be great to be able to use the popular Brother QL series label printers natively. It is currently an option to print to CSV, then import CSV as a database in Brother P-touch Editor, merge data and print the label - but this is cumbersome for printing individual labels or small batches. I have seen a conference system print badges directly from a custom built app to Brother label printers and it was according to the developers rather straightforward.

  5. Add pairing recoโ€™s from CellarChat to the corresponding wines from my cellar

Hey there! I just used Cellar Chat and it's awesome. I love that I can just type in what I'm grilling tonight (like lamb) and get excellent wine suggestions from my collection - the three recommendations seem spot-on. Then asking for the top pairing made my choice simple. It'd be amazing if I could add these pairing notes right to the bottle I picked based on its suggestion - that would make it even better. Keep up the great work. Veey cool!

  6. Why did the CellarTracker web app font get so small?

I can't read anything. And I have very good eyes. Please increase the font size.

  7. Bug in AI when hitting Return

I enter a request into the AI chat and accidentally hit enter to send and it just does a carriage return but it locks up the app.

  8. Dark mode please

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

  9. Stop trying to make this a social site!

while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

  10. Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.

  11. Let me rate wines/write comments WITHOUT MAKING THEM PUBLIC

Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank โ€” rating and comments โ€” WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. Itโ€™s PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousinโ€™s birthday partyโ€ฆ but that information will definitely be relevant next month when Iโ€™m trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And itโ€™s frankly nobody elseโ€™s business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. Itโ€™s fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media โ€œinfluencersโ€, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.

  12. Ability to know where in your cellar you have room for more bottlex

I have 90 bottle wine cellar which has 9 shelves. It would nice if I could tell app how many bottles a shelf can store and then easily find shelf(s) that have free spot when adding new bottle

  13. Drinkability scores and "drink between" windows are wrong for NV wines

There are lots of wines that do not have a vintage year but do have a finite drinking window. (Most Champagnes and sakes, for example!) Currently, these wines have complete nonsense in the "drinkability score" and "drink by" window. For example I often see bottles whose "drink by" window ended before this bottle was actually bottled. It is incorrect to say that, e.g., ALL bottles of Veuve Clicquot NV have the same drink by window. A bottle that was bottled last year will improve a little and then last longer than an NV bottled 10years ago. Instead of showing wrong information (and, e.g., adding lots of noise/mess to my "drinkability report), CellarTracker should do one of the following: A) remove "drinkability score" and ready-to-drink windows from NV wines B) Add a concept of "NV but bottled on date X" (perhaps the purchase date if the true bottling date is unknown) and for NV wines calculate drinkability and drink-bys based on number of years since bottling date [preferred] Thanks!

  14. Compare vintages from search overview (show CT score and pro scores)

Show CT score and pro scores in search overview. In the current app I often search for I wine and then pick a vintage based on the CT and pro scores I see per vintage in the search overview. The beta does not show scores in the search overview. See attached screenshots for the current difference

  15. No Vivino please

Initial fears are this is turning into a mini Vivino. Cellartracker is for the real wine drinking, inventory management utmost, viewing friends cellars and other reviews 2nd. The new app feels too much, too busy, too many pictures, too many suggestions, colour and bling over core inventory management functionality. Please don't lose sight over what made this so good. Vivino should not be viewed as direct competition.
