Map Feature of collection
It would be neat to have capability to see where wines are from in a map to help inform regional taste profiles

Cellar Chat HISTORY
Cellar Chat deletes chat history after a 30-second conversation... I have to re-explain my request after having left the app even temporarily...

Dark mode please
This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

Limit store list to last 5/10
When adding a purchase, please limit the options on store to recent stores or some other limit like most common. My list is huge and has a ton of long dead stores or places that were one-offs traveling. A shortened list + typing with autocomplete, ideally.

Don't Bury Pro Reviews
Strongly dislike the recent UI change that buries access to Pro Reviews to "below the fold". Having to scroll down through the community review section that is secondary to me, to then find and click through to see All the Pro Reviews that I am subscribing to is a major step back in functionality from having it be a simple click of a tab at the top of the wine details screen. Really really really bad change to be forced to wade through the community reviews first.

Integrate the 'Cellar' section on Wine Searcher with CT
ideally the Cellar in CT and Wine Searcher could be synced so adding a bottle in one app would automatically add it in the other. Sometimes shopping for a wine in WS, it's easier to add a bottle there but the Cellar section on WS is useless after that, nothing like CT. Thank you for all you do!

Sort friends' cellars by age or winery
No option on new app to sort friends' wines by age or winery. I preferred the old app where I could see what they have when I am buying gifts it's now a 20 min process to see if they have what I'm looking at purchasing for them. I would like the old app option back. I understand thats likely a paid option, but I'm not interested in paying for an option that came free with downloading your app in the first place. I am looking at other options at this point for apps that will be more user friendly so I can ditch this app completely and take my friends with me.

Filter for drinking window end date
this is the biggest reason I still use the old app, to identify expiring bottles. In a previous post in October 2024, you admitted the new app could not do this function, but an upgrade was considered. When will that be? I hope the old app stays functional until then.

Whatβs Poppin bug
On the Whatβs Poppin beta email, the Drink Now (shrivel up) note states that a wine is 87% consumed, but the wine detail indicates only 38% consumed. Reason for the discrepancy?

Add photo of purchase receipt
in case Iβd like to sell wine, proving provenance is key. I have stacks of purchase receipts but would love to digitize and add to each wine on CT.

Selectable drinking window profile
Drinking windows (and associated drinkability scores) across all CT versions have been based on a flat drinking profile, i.e. constant wine consumption rate from start date to end date. I would like to see a user-selected profile that allows users to define when they ideally drink within those windows. For example, I tend to drink most Cabernet and Riesling wines later in their drinking windows. Grenache and Chardonnay more in the middle. Fortifieds pretty evenly across a wide window. The current drinkability reporting often informs me that I have a number of bottles of a particular wine to drink, before I have an intention of drinking them. To overcome this I have changed (and narrowed) my drinking displayed windows, which adjusts the group average. I would prefer to keep a wider window and define how I drink within that window. The way I would like to see this implemented is as follows: User selection from drop down list. Selectable options donβt need to be complex, just something like Flat, Normal (Distribution), Early Drinking, Late Drinking. Default selection can be the same flat drinkability rate that is currently used, for those users that arenβt interested in this feature. Selection can be made for each wine in your cellar. A quick way of updating these (eg bulk update by variety or region) would be nice but not essential.

About pro reviews in the new app
The new app is a great improvement overall. But there is only 2 things that keep me going back to the old app (only for that): Pretty much what is described in this other feedback: https://feedback.cellartracker.com/b/dvdklpm9/feature-ideas/dont-bury-pro-reviews. Now finding pro reviews is hard... You need to click on the users' reviews to see the pros. When there are no user reviews I can't find the pro reviews in the app. In the old app there is always a direct link to the review of the critic. Even if you are nor subscribed to the reviewer, you still get some info about that review. The new app only has the subscribe option. If those 2 things are solved, I would definitely uninstall the old version. Thanks

Identify winery winemakers and flag when it changes
Arguably, other than the vines, soil, location etc the expertise of the head winemaker significantly impacts the wine. In addition, many wineries success (value and sales) are impacted by the reputation of the winemaker. So, identifying the winemakers (and maybe linking to bio) is critical when assessing new purchases, as well as what to do when a winemaker departs an estate.

Trouble scaning barcodes
I canΒ΄t scan printed CT bar codes anymore - it has worked until recently. I can scan regular bar codes on bottles without problems. IOS 26.2 on iPhone 13.
