barcode scanner seems to have stopped working recently. Label scan still works.

Today I’m trying to relocate bottles between storage locations in the cellar, and for some reason the camera function in the app is not behaving correctly, as when I turn the phone sideways it is not letting me scan anything because the pop up for the camera collapses automatically. If I turn off screen rotation the pop up stays visible correctly, but for some reason the camera scan no longer works with my phone sideways and I need to physically orient the bottle to my phone’s normal vertical position. Please help!

I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank — rating and comments — WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. It’s PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousin’s birthday party… but that information will definitely be relevant next month when I’m trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And it’s frankly nobody else’s business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. It’s fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media “influencers”, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.

Strongly dislike the recent UI change that buries access to Pro Reviews to "below the fold". Having to scroll down through the community review section that is secondary to me, to then find and click through to see All the Pro Reviews that I am subscribing to is a major step back in functionality from having it be a simple click of a tab at the top of the wine details screen. Really really really bad change to be forced to wade through the community reviews first.

this is the biggest reason I still use the old app, to identify expiring bottles. In a previous post in October 2024, you admitted the new app could not do this function, but an upgrade was considered. When will that be? I hope the old app stays functional until then.

The new app is a great improvement overall. But there is only 2 things that keep me going back to the old app (only for that): Pretty much what is described in this other feedback: https://feedback.cellartracker.com/b/dvdklpm9/feature-ideas/dont-bury-pro-reviews. Now finding pro reviews is hard... You need to click on the users' reviews to see the pros. When there are no user reviews I can't find the pro reviews in the app. In the old app there is always a direct link to the review of the critic. Even if you are nor subscribed to the reviewer, you still get some info about that review. The new app only has the subscribe option. If those 2 things are solved, I would definitely uninstall the old version. Thanks

The new one is not working right

I have had issues when adding new bottles to my collection. After scanning the barcode, everything seems to work fine until I hit “save”, when nothing happens. I have to leave the screen entirely and restart the process, and the second time it allows me to save normally. This has happened with every bottle I have added recently. A rather strange little bug that is making adding all the Christmas wine gifts I received a little more challenging. Is this happening to others as well?

When I go to “consume” a bottle I would think it would show me the drinking window before I hit the button? I feel like I have to go out of my way from a UX to get that info.

Currently the only way to manage another user's cellar is on the desktop website... Would be great to be able to do so on the app!

As of today 12/24 Drinkability Scores no longer showing on my ipad and iphone apps.
