  2. I want notes to auto complete/fill

From Dan When consuming bottles, I was really missing the auto-complete on the consumption note. I rely on the autocomplete here (and many other fields) quite frequently so would be great to see this added!

  3. Pivot: Be able to tap anything in wine details to take me there

a few times, I’ve craved the ability to β€œpivot” from a wine to a filter view or another page related to that wine. For example, if I’m on a 2019 Ridge Monte Bello, I’d love to be able to tap nearly anything on the wine or in the details to go to that thing. A non-exhaustive list of things I think should be clickable includes: β€œRed Bordeaux Blend” USA > Santa Cruz Mountains Any score/year in the Vintage grid (though β€œSee More” takes you to a list you can click through, it would be logical to go direct if possible) Producer, Varietal, Region in About (and nearly everything in the β€œSee More” view of About) Most often, I just want to quickly tap through to the producer to see the rest of their wines. It would be nice if that were possible from the very top of the screen, even. Where these go is mostly logical to determine, sometimes a page is appropriate (such as for the producer), sometimes a wine search filtered to the appropriate item. I’ve used this strategy in several apps and it’s been well received. Having the ability to β€œpivot” to related searches, lists, or objects enhances the ease of finding what you’re looking for and traversing relationships, making for an easier to explore app. It’s especially appropriate for a system with so many rich relationships like CT. As side feedback, the β€œSee More” on some of the new cards takes some thinking to understand. It would be better if they were descriptive of what you’re seeing more of, for example β€œSee More Details,” β€œSee All Vintages” etc. (I’m a UX designer and this approach has tested well for me countless times).

  4. Compare vintages from search overview (show CT score and pro scores)

Show CT score and pro scores in search overview. In the current app I often search for I wine and then pick a vintage based on the CT and pro scores I see per vintage in the search overview. The beta does not show scores in the search overview. See attached screenshots for the current difference

  5. Bring back the pull-down search menu for wines NOT in your "collection"

The old app and current website both allow choosing what set of data to search; My Cellar, or All Wines (on the old app) or My Cellar, Wines, Tasting Notes, etc in a browser. The new app appears to be unnecessarily limited to my Collection. I sometimes want to look at wines I don't / haven't owned to see reviews, price, etc, particularly if I'm wandering the aisles of a wine store. The only way I can figure out how to do that is selecting "Add Bottles", which seems like an unintuitive (and not very good) way of doing it. Please bring back the pull-down menu for the search bar.

  6. Add Cellar Chat AI to the Web/Desktop Version

While I love the new mobile version and understand why the cellar chat ai feature started there, I live on the wb version, even when using the iPad, so I would love it if the cellar chat ai version could be added to the web version as well.

  7. Barcoding location and bins from the app

Would n't it be nice to leverage your nifty app to move stock around: scan barcode with phone, select relocate, but the relocate menu lets you scan the bar code of the bin (or shelve of the fridge). Done. From Jean-Marc

  8. Possibility to create new vintages from wine details

When viewing a wine there is a dropdown for the vintage where another year can be selected but its not possible to add a new vintage from this view. Please add it. Now I have to go back to the list view and do it

  9. 3D barcodes no longer take you to specific bottle

I have tags with 3D barcodes. In the past when I scanned the barcode to consume the bottleit took me to that specific bottle. Now if I have more than one bottle it just makes me to the wine and pre-selects one of the multiple bottles I have randomly. Please restore the functionality that takes you to the specific bottle #.

  10. Bring back straight keyword search vs the vintage wine view in search results

Old search enabled a broader range of use cases that didn’t force the use to pick wine and vintage in results. See below for broad β€œauteur Sonoma” query with the ability to sort and quickly browse this keyword without looking for a specific wine. The old results page is far superior.

  11. Helpful Feature

I could not see, on the mobile app, a way to add bottles not in the database. It would be helpful to be able to add bottles that aren’t already in the CT dara base.

  13. Dark mode please

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

  14. Provide option to turn off 'Grow your network' section

I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

  15. Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.
