  2. I still use the original most of the time

I’ve been a long time, cellar tracker user, but I don’t new version hardly at all. It takes a long time to query my cellar, and I’m unable to save simple queries like just looking for a Bordeaux or something like that. Also, if there’s a wine that I want to find, I can’t just do a simple search like I can on the original (searching notes, all purchases, or current holdings as a simple drop down.). So the original. I have exported my whole cellar out, because I’m not sure I will continue to use CT if you guys kill the legacy app.

  3. Are there any plans to have a β€œhad with” feature?

there are many times when I share wine with friends, business associates, etc. I want to be sure that I don’t duplicate wine experiences with them or I may want to try a different vintage of the same wine. It would be great to be able to search a database to see what wines I’ve had with any particular individual and calibrate what I share with them .

  4. List wines in drinking windows chart

It would be great to be able to list which wines are included in the next 2-5, 5-10, 10-20 and beyond 20 years chart, in order to more easily manage the cellar. Sometimes it’s not clear from the drinkability score which wines are becoming overdue (if the wine has a neg score for example).

  5. Stop trying to make this a social site!

while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

  6. No Vivino please

Initial fears are this is turning into a mini Vivino. Cellartracker is for the real wine drinking, inventory management utmost, viewing friends cellars and other reviews 2nd. The new app feels too much, too busy, too many pictures, too many suggestions, colour and bling over core inventory management functionality. Please don't lose sight over what made this so good. Vivino should not be viewed as direct competition.

  7. New app is terrible

I have tried really hard to get used to the new app. I am the only one that finds every action to be more steps and less intuitive? Adding, consuming, and reporting all seem to be more complicated. As one example, the β€œadd another wine” doesn’t go to the search bar anymore, creating the need for a couple extra clicks to find it. I’ve gone back to the old app and really hope it doesn’t disappear. Anyone else feeling similar or am I just a weirdo?

  8. Up-voting for wine photos

As a user, I would like to vote for the image that I would like to see represent any given wine, so that only high quality photos represent wines in my list view. Benefit: This will remove low quality/poorly taken photos making for a better viewing experience

  9. I want to see the price I paid of the bottle I'm about to consume

Getting the price of a consumed bottle or, better yet, an about to be consumed bottle is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY cumbersome. All I'd like to do is every time I consume a bottle, is to know the cost. It was cumbersome on the old app but available although after it was removed from the inventory. At least one could get it on each bottle when pulled out of the inventory. How can I get the price upon every withdrawal easily? From Barrett

  10. Consumption note vs review (TN)

Hello, I'm using the new app more and more and getting used to it πŸ‘. When consuming a wine, the Consumption note is front and center so I initially assumed it was the review (tasting note) field. But I think this turns out it's a private note that is not displayed to other users. If I want to add a public tasting note, it looks like I have to go through a second step, add review, after the bottle has been consumed. It's that accurate? Aren't you scared a lot of people will now enter TNs under consumption notes and not make them public? Many thanks and keep up the great work!

  11. Stop the annoying popups

I just signed up and am nearly ready to delete the app because instead of letting me just add wine I get popups that invite me to things or try features that either cost more or merely add drag to the task I wish to complete - which is simply to keep track of my wine. I understand free is not free but the level of in app bs will cause me to exit entirely before I seek out these other features. Ugh

  12. Original format much better.

Have the app mimick a login. I use it mostly for my own wine collection where I can also see others comments if I want. The app is very cumbersome especially if I am trying to add or drink wine or peruse my cellar.

  13. Dark mode please

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

  14. Provide option to turn off 'Grow your network' section

I'd like to see less emphasis on the 'Grow your network' section on the home screen, please. I'd rather see more information about my collection or other wines, I'm not interested in networking - there are other apps for that. While some people may like that feature, it should have an ability to be removed from the home screen or moved down to the bottom of the screen. Thanks.

  15. Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.
