  4. no account sharing option in beta app

    There doesn't seem to be a way to do account sharing in the new app like the old one, or if there is it's too well hidden. Here's the support page for account sharing as of now. https://support.cellartracker.com/article/56-account-sharing

  5. Consume Flow is Confusing

    When consuming a bottle I’m presented with a confirmation screen and a checkbox indicating I would like to consume said bottle. It works the same way if I check or don’t check the box leading to some confusion as to whether I performed the action correctly. You may want to either require users to check it or remove the checkbox completely.

  6. Modify wine if incorrectly added

    When adding a wine, if you accidentally select the wrong vintage or varietal, you have to consume the wine and start from scratch. It would be great if you could edit the actual wine selection after adding.

    it should be possible to select you personal image of bottles as a preference in the overview. Most images are poorly photographed.

  9. Search result uses 25% of screen?!?

    search. Get a list. Choose one. The result uses 25% of the screen. Then when I click on a year I get a NEW screen. Best design practices would either (A) when you click on a year fill the lower 75% of the screen but keep the top part static so you can cycle through vintages quickly Or (B) use more than 25% of the screen for more informed results (vintages going down where you can pull scroll and also see more info on lines (e.g., rating and price and # bottles)

    Restaurant purchase should bring up a simple drop down of your previous places vs typing in and adding to a long list of places we can’t edit or reduce.

  12. Sort by "Location & Bin" doesn't sort numbers correctly

    When sorting by location/bin, the sort order is 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2, 20, etc. Sort order should be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.

  13. Ability to know where in your cellar you have room for more bottlex

    I have 90 bottle wine cellar which has 9 shelves. It would nice if I could tell app how many bottles a shelf can store and then easily find shelf(s) that have free spot when adding new bottle

  15. Drinkability scores and "drink between" windows are wrong for NV wines

    There are lots of wines that do not have a vintage year but do have a finite drinking window. (Most Champagnes and sakes, for example!) Currently, these wines have complete nonsense in the "drinkability score" and "drink by" window. For example I often see bottles whose "drink by" window ended before this bottle was actually bottled. It is incorrect to say that, e.g., ALL bottles of Veuve Clicquot NV have the same drink by window. A bottle that was bottled last year will improve a little and then last longer than an NV bottled 10years ago. Instead of showing wrong information (and, e.g., adding lots of noise/mess to my "drinkability report), CellarTracker should do one of the following: A) remove "drinkability score" and ready-to-drink windows from NV wines B) Add a concept of "NV but bottled on date X" (perhaps the purchase date if the true bottling date is unknown) and for NV wines calculate drinkability and drink-bys based on number of years since bottling date [preferred] Thanks!
