  2. See number of views on my reviews

From Andrew In the My Reviews tab the old app showed the number of views each comment I wrote had had. I liked this feature as it gave me an understanding of how interested the community were in particular wines I hold. Many members do not go to the effort of clicking the helpful icon or leave comments. Please consider bringing this dataset back.

  3. Bring back sorting and filtering of other usersโ€™ reviews (e.g by score)

In the old interface we had no fewer than nine options for sorting other usersโ€™ notes by, for example, score, vintage and tasting date. In the new app it appears that we cannot sort other users notes (now called reviews) at all. Use case: one of the great joys of interacting with other profiles on CT is the ability to quickly sort their reviews by score - thus revealing which wines are their all-time favourites and what they generally prefer to drink. Photo attached of how it looks in the old interface.

  4. Allow multiple filtering for variety

Currently, filtering of a collection is limited to one variety of wine at a time. For example, if I want to drill down to Italian grape varieties, I can only select one at a time when I am really looking for a wine with flexibility across varieties. E.g. I would like to be able to select barbera and nebbiolo and filter on both of these simultaneously so that the result displayed contains both varieties. Can this be applied to both the desktop and mobile apps please?

  5. Relocate option removed from wine card menu

Until recently, it was possible to Relocate bottles from two places. a) the wine list entry using the 'Relocate' link or b) from the menu in the wine detail page. Now for some reason, that wine detail menu item is gone and now you only have Consume, Edit and Delete. I am completely flummoxed as to why it would be removed. Support have told me to select Edit to edit the wine. From that Edit page, I can edit any detail about the wine, but what I can't do is relocate x bottles of my existing y bottles from that edit page, unless I am relocating ALL bottles. The subsequent response was that I should go into the Stock tab and then individually relocate bottles. Really...??? Given my not so clever fingers, I often find when I click the Relocate link (a) I miss it and get taken to the wine page. Now instead of a single menu/option click to get to the relocate page, I either have to go to an individual bottle and edit it or go back to the listing and try (a) again. Why on earth have you removed the second way to get to a dedicated 'Relocate' page where you can do just that. @Hulda Z there was a big discussion with many people around the workflows a year and a half ago. What's the logic behind reducing access to this oh so important feature? If it's about limiting options in that menu, I fail to understand why you can still Delete wine, but not Relocate it.

  6. Please stop blocking VPN users from accessing your login page

At one time you blocked VPNs from accessing your login page, but then stopped doing so for quite a long time. Youโ€™ve recently started blocking them again. Please stop. Thank you

  8. Dark mode please

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

  9. Stop trying to make this a social site!

while I totally benefit from the input of other oneophiles, would prefer if CT focused on things like easier bottle additions- barcode or UPC - Awesome resource for wine lovers, thanks!

  10. Visualize the optimal drinking window per wine

From Chris: Enhanced Drinking Window Info: Would be amazing to show graphically for each wine the bell curve of the optimal drinking winding assuming proper storage. It could update dynamically based on both critic and user ratings.

  11. Let me rate wines/write comments WITHOUT MAKING THEM PUBLIC

Cellar Tracker is built to help me track my cellar. PLEASE give me a way to record my own thoughts on a bottle that I just drank โ€” rating and comments โ€” WITHOUT making this public for every other cellar tracker user to see. Itโ€™s PRIVATE if I want to remind myself that my wife thought this wine was a little too sweet or that I drank it at my cousinโ€™s birthday partyโ€ฆ but that information will definitely be relevant next month when Iโ€™m trying to decide whether to open the next bottle of it or something else. And itโ€™s frankly nobody elseโ€™s business that I liked Wine A but not Wine B. Itโ€™s fine if some CT users want to exhibit their reviews like social media โ€œinfluencersโ€, but it feels really really sketchy to make that mandatory.

  12. Ability to know where in your cellar you have room for more bottlex

I have 90 bottle wine cellar which has 9 shelves. It would nice if I could tell app how many bottles a shelf can store and then easily find shelf(s) that have free spot when adding new bottle

  13. Drinkability scores and "drink between" windows are wrong for NV wines

There are lots of wines that do not have a vintage year but do have a finite drinking window. (Most Champagnes and sakes, for example!) Currently, these wines have complete nonsense in the "drinkability score" and "drink by" window. For example I often see bottles whose "drink by" window ended before this bottle was actually bottled. It is incorrect to say that, e.g., ALL bottles of Veuve Clicquot NV have the same drink by window. A bottle that was bottled last year will improve a little and then last longer than an NV bottled 10years ago. Instead of showing wrong information (and, e.g., adding lots of noise/mess to my "drinkability report), CellarTracker should do one of the following: A) remove "drinkability score" and ready-to-drink windows from NV wines B) Add a concept of "NV but bottled on date X" (perhaps the purchase date if the true bottling date is unknown) and for NV wines calculate drinkability and drink-bys based on number of years since bottling date [preferred] Thanks!

  14. No Vivino please

Initial fears are this is turning into a mini Vivino. Cellartracker is for the real wine drinking, inventory management utmost, viewing friends cellars and other reviews 2nd. The new app feels too much, too busy, too many pictures, too many suggestions, colour and bling over core inventory management functionality. Please don't lose sight over what made this so good. Vivino should not be viewed as direct competition.

  15. Visualize My Cellar

Visual option to show where my wine is in the cellar so I donโ€™t have to count bins or rows etc. could be simple grid or complex 3D with label images. Just some way to replicate the design of my physical cellar into digital app.
