Please remove redundant region/appellation from printable wine lists
Currently the “printable wine list” (aka restaurant-style wine lists) displays a lot of redundant location/appellation information that is already included in headers. It would be great to remove this — but only for info that is already included in the headers — as it takes up a lot of space that could be used for things like pro scores, drinking windows, location, price, etc. More detail: CellarTracker (rightly) treats locations/appellations hierarchically. For example Casa Lapostolle’s Cuvée Alexandre comes from Chile, within Chile it’s in the Rapel Valley, within the Rapel Valley it’s in Colchagua valley, and within Colchagua it’s in Apalta. CellarTracker will (nicely) group wines under headings/subheadings for some of these “layers” but not for all. This is all great but what’s frustrating is that CellarTracker then repeats all of the information from the header next to EACH entry underneath the header. I’d really like to keep the info that isn’t in the header but not repeat the stuff that is. See attached screenshot: the redundant items to be removed are crossed out in red). Importantly, please note that NOT ALL of the location/appellation should be removed! For example, for Casa Lapostolle’s Cuvée Alexandre Carmenere, Cellar Tracker creates a heading for “Chile” and sub heading for “Rapel Valley”, but the appellation next to the wine says “Chile, Rapel Valley, Colchagua Valley, Apalta”. So you could safely remove “Chile” and “Rapel Valley” from what’s listed next to each wine but keep “Colchagua Valley” and “Apalta” as those both add useful info! Thanks!

android mobile app. "Super" search after typing first numeral keyboard changes from numeral keyboard to alpha keyboard
Many times I use the overall search to look up specific vintages of wines, such as 2021 Petrus. When using the android numeric keyboard, after typing the first "2" in "2021" the keyboard defaults back to alpha. The user must manually change back to the numeric keyboard to complete the vintage date. This only happens with the first digit. For example, when switching back to numeric keyboard and typing the "0" in 2021, the keyboard remains in numeric. This behavior only manifests in the super search. It does not occur in the In My Cellar search or in the Consumed search. For these searches, the keyboard remains in numeric after typing the first digit and remains in numeric until changed by the user back to alpha.

Old version easier
The interface of the old version is not good but the rest is easier, finding your wines register new ones etc. You need to work on the clarity and functionality. Meanwhile I will use the old one

Show collection of in-stock and pending at the same time
The legacy app as well as desktop - when you search 'my cellar' it brings up your in stock and pending. Particularly helpful when you're searching for wines you have when trying to buy a wine or if you're not up to date on updating your pending, you can still see all the wine you have. Right now you basically have to do two individual searches and remember the details of each search. Would make sense to make it into a filter after you search

Pro reviews should show drinking windows
From Hamilton Any reason why drink dates are not displayed in the professional reviews? They used to be. https://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=2384306

Add ability to edit/manage stores
I don't believe Cellar Tracker allows me to edit/delete stores from which I no longer buy wine so I end up entering the wrong store at times. Would be great to be able to edit the list of stores that is used for new entries to avoid making incorrect entries.

Show CT score and pro scores in search overview
In the current app I often search for I wine and then pick a vintage based on the CT and pro scores I see per vintage in the search overview. The beta does not show scores in the search overview. See attached screenshots for the current difference

Remove white space, increase font size
So much wasted space everywhere. Make the font bigger everywhere where the cell is already short enough https://i.imgur.com/5rTeCG8.jpeg Remove this white space and make the font bigger on place like this https://imgur.com/a/vOmexRe

Cannot add pro review on the beta app
I couldn’t find a way to add pro reviews on the beta app. (Without a subscription)

Not really liking the new app - relocation
I find the new app difficult to use. It’s not as clear. Been reverting back to the old app just because I prefer it and use my laptop now more when recording new or drinking wines. I do a lot of movement; moving wines out to different locations. For some reason the new app just does not seem to work as well. Maybe it’s just me. But my 2 cents

Filter search by the number of reviews
We're trying to get wines from 0-$40, sorted by rating descending. Ideally, this would help us discover highly rated wines in this price bracket. However, in reality, there's no way to actually accomplish that, as the ratings are of course full of noise and need to be tuned down for relevance. The top wine under $40 in the world is, apparently, a Sangria from the Finger Lakes. In order to tune out the noise, we need to add the number of reviews/notes as a filter to this search. But that is not possible. From User

Make advanced search genuinely useful
CellarTracker has an absolute wealth of data on Wine, and it has the potential to be one of the best platforms for discovering truly valuable insights about wine in the entire world. However, the search and query capability is holding us back from using it for those kinds of unique insights entirely, and this is truly unfortunate. Example, with the following search: https://www.cellartracker.com/list.asp?ShowFilter=1&Table=List&ValueTop=40&ValueBottom=0%2E01&iUserOverride=0&O=CScoreSort+DESC&VB=2018&VT=2024 We're trying to get wines from 0-$40, sorted by rating descending. If we try to get at that in another way, and instead use Advanced Search to get Notes summaries, then we can't filter by price, and end up with just the 1er cru Bordeaux and Burgundies. Not surprising, and also not useful. If we try yet another approach, I looked everywhere for a way to export, so I could do my own data discovery; this is also not possible. My next step will be to scrape the API. I imagine I will succeed, but this is not a step that should be necessary. My recommendation: list the truly useful queries based on the outcome, the kinds of discoveries and insights that should be possible with this data set. Then work out the filters or groupings or sorts necessary to achieve them, and ensure those are supported.

Printing labels from Apple device
The old version of CellarTracker was built on a better foundation, created by a passionate wine enthusiast and a skilled IT professional. What frustrates me the most is that printing labels from an Apple device doesn’t work—a feature that functions seamlessly in other similar applications. It’s a shame to see a once-great program deteriorate over time.
