  2. Old version was easier to navigate

I’m lost on this new version. Instead of gradual changes you seemed to have gone for the “let’s confuse the crap” out of people approach.

  3. Add ability to edit/manage stores

I don't believe Cellar Tracker allows me to edit/delete stores from which I no longer buy wine so I end up entering the wrong store at times. Would be great to be able to edit the list of stores that is used for new entries to avoid making incorrect entries.

  4. Subscription/club tracking

We frequently purchase wines through subscriptions or club memberships. Some are direct via wineries, some are third-parties. Being able to manage these subscriptions and their deliveries would really help us gain insight into which ones provide the most value and are worth keeping.

  5. Favorite bin

It would be nice to save a “favorite bin” location to the top of the list that pops up during a Bottle Relocate process. I must believe that many of your “heavy” users employ a “common” bin location for wines that are ready to drink. I have one for my wife to pull wine from whenever she wants a good bottle, and I am not here to select it for her. I call mine the “Drink Now Vertical”… but anyway, the new app is great but that little feature addition sure would save a lot of scrolling time. From RJ

  6. Dark mode please

This is not a functionality idea, but something that is very important to me as a user.

  7. Show CT score and pro scores in search overview

In the current app I often search for I wine and then pick a vintage based on the CT and pro scores I see per vintage in the search overview. The beta does not show scores in the search overview. See attached screenshots for the current difference

  8. Please remove redundant region/appellation from printable wine lists

Currently the “printable wine list” (aka restaurant-style wine lists) displays a lot of redundant location/appellation information that is already included in headers. It would be great to remove this — but only for info that is already included in the headers — as it takes up a lot of space that could be used for things like pro scores, drinking windows, location, price, etc. More detail: CellarTracker (rightly) treats locations/appellations hierarchically. For example Casa Lapostolle’s Cuvée Alexandre comes from Chile, within Chile it’s in the Rapel Valley, within the Rapel Valley it’s in Colchagua valley, and within Colchagua it’s in Apalta. CellarTracker will (nicely) group wines under headings/subheadings for some of these “layers” but not for all. This is all great but what’s frustrating is that CellarTracker then repeats all of the information from the header next to EACH entry underneath the header. I’d really like to keep the info that isn’t in the header but not repeat the stuff that is. See attached screenshot: the redundant items to be removed are crossed out in red). Importantly, please note that NOT ALL of the location/appellation should be removed! For example, for Casa Lapostolle’s Cuvée Alexandre Carmenere, Cellar Tracker creates a heading for “Chile” and sub heading for “Rapel Valley”, but the appellation next to the wine says “Chile, Rapel Valley, Colchagua Valley, Apalta”. So you could safely remove “Chile” and “Rapel Valley” from what’s listed next to each wine but keep “Colchagua Valley” and “Apalta” as those both add useful info! Thanks!

  9. Drinking Window Dates should be selectable

In Wine Details there are drinking window dates. However, I don't know where those dates are derived from, whether it's CT or pro reviews. In the web app I can click on the dates and see and select a different date set. Would be nice to have something similar here.

  10. Searching for new wines

I think it would be a great use of all the data the app has collected, if we could use it to discover new wines! For example, let’s say I wanted to try some Pinot Noir from Oregon. Since there are tons of bottling out there, it is pretty tough to know where to start. I think it would be great if I could just search for wines by category (variety, region, vintage, etc.) and then perhaps sort by rating or something like that. This could help me find some great wines and narrow down my search.

  11. New CT Android sometimes someone else's review fills body field of My Review

Around 1 AM PST I wanted to look at my review of 2000 Bel Air-Marquis d'Aligre(BAMA)sho and I found the text off and referring to drinking a bottle of the wine with user Nutty08. I then found another review from another user of the same wine with the same body of text. After swiping back to a page showed which BAMA vintages I was cellaring, when choosing 2000 BAMA vintage again and selecting My Review, it showed the correct body. However, this morning at around 7 AM PST I was able to reproduce the error condition. Attached are some screenshots showing the different bodies for my single review of 2000 BAMA.

  12. Ability to search under Consumed for text in my private consumption notes

Currently I believe one can only search within the wine names. This feature would be useful retrospectively to find, for example, which wines did we drink with our friends [insert name]? Or when did we visit [name] a particular restaurant? From Roger

  13. Store names are automatically renamed

Sometimes when I enter a new store the app automatically changes the name. I do not like it when an app "thinks" it's smarter than the person using it. If I made a mistake, I can fix it by myself and do not need qol features that most of the time are incorrect.
